I am Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I defended my dissertation titled “Her Organs Were a Question of the State: Reading Adriana Cavarero from the Latin American Postcolony” at DePaul University with distinction and I received my MA in Philosophy with a minor on Psychoanalytic Theory from The New School for Social Research, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies. My work concentrates on feminist philosophy and Latin American decolonial theory, particularly on the way in which the notions of sexual difference and colonial difference inform each other.
